Creating a Tow Assignment Without a Claim

When creating a tow assignment without a claim, the system will generate an Incident ID.

To create a tow assignment without a claim

1. In the CCC Portal home page click on the Manage Tow Assignment link in the left panel.
2. Click on the Create Tow Assignment link. The Create Tow Assignment page displays.
3. Select the Without a Claimoption, then click on Create Event ID.
4. Enter all relevant information in the fields provided on the page, then click on Save to save the information or Send to save the information and send the tow assignment to the specified towing provider.

Note: This type of assignment will generate an Incident ID that allows you to view the tow assignment details. From there, you can merge the newly created tow assignment with an existing claim.
